Q. How can users access KYVL inside the library (or school) without needing a username and password?

Answer

IP authentication is for member libraries or institutions.  In order for your patrons to access KYVL without a login, we will need to set up IP authentication for your library. To do this, we will need you to send your outward-facing IP address or range. You can usually get this from your IT/network person or your ISP (internet service provider). If you had this type of authentication in the past, but it no longer works, then it is likely your IP address has changed.  Once you acquire your IP address/range, just send it to KYVL staff through our Submit a Question form.
